Two fire engines, a fire rescue unit and 15 firefighters were called to a collision involving a bus and a railway bridge on St Lays Road in Tottenham early this morning.
Crews helped release three people who were trapped on the upper deck of a double-decker bus. Five passengers were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service and 21 people were treated at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0405 and the incident was over at 0544. Crews from Tottenham and Edmonton fire stations attended the incident along with London Ambulance Service, Metropolitan Police and Network Rail.
