Police in Barnet are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing tourist who disappeared in London while on a coach trip.

Irena Wawszczak, 62, lives in Poland but had come over to the UK to visit her son who lives in Northampton

On Monday, 24 October, Irena was returning to Poland from Northampton on a Sinbad coach, which stopped for a break at the London Gateway service station in Mill Hill

Irene left the coach at the services but she did not return, and the coach left without her

Irene speaks very little English

Reported sightings of Irene have been posted on social media and include Colindale, the NW7 area and along the A1 southbound

Irene is a white female, of slim build, with short black hair and black glasses

She was last seen wearing a dark coloured coat with a purple/pink fleece lining which is quite distinctive. She was also carrying a cream style bag with short handles.

Officers are increasingly concerned for her well-being and would urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
