Peter Andre superfan will get his autograph permanently tattooed after meeting the pop idol at his book signing.

Paula Thirsk, 43, of Market Weighton, asked the Mysterious Girl singer to sign her arm while he visited WH Smith in Prospect Centre on Wednesday.

Within minutes of it being scrawled on her skin, she booked herself in to have the signature inked on tomorrow as a reminder to “keep happy”.

Ms Thirsk suffers from Cerebral Palsy, after she was born three months premature weighing only 2lb 5oz, and relies on an electric wheelchair to get around, but wants other people facing disability to know they can still lead an independent life.Ms Thirsk travels on two buses twice a week to listen to Year 2 school children read at her daughter’s primary school, because she “loves being able to give the children the extra support they need”. Another joy in her life is listening to Peter Andre.
