Dad-of-three (with one more on the way) Peter Andre has had a go at a machine which simulates the pain of childbirth – live on Loose Woman.
The Mysterious Girl artist joined the panel to test out a device that gives men the same level of contraction that women feel during childbirth… and the results left him shouting expletives.Peter, who is famous for his six pack, was sent to the world’s only male birthing clinic in Amsterdam to test out their device and was shocked, literally, at how painful he found it all.Rocking a fake baby bump, that was supposed to emulate the same size and weight a woman of his size would have at nine-months, Peter struggled to walk around and moaned about how heavy it was.He said: “After yesterday I understand a lot more of what you guys go through and I never wanna go through it again.
“This is two stone. They’ve tested it on women that have been pregnant so they can make it authentic as possible. It’s really something. I couldn’t put my socks on.”I understand, but yesterday it felt like a sledgehammer had hit me.”
The Loose women then showed Peter attached to the electrical machine that fired electric shots into his lower abdomen in four stages that recreated the effects of giving birth.
After enquiring about pain relieving options, Peter got down to the nitty gritty and screamed in pain as the machine kicked in and started working its magic on him.At first it was all fine and Pete even said, “This is alright.” But then the assistant told him that they hadn’t even started yet.
Peter said; “When they explained to me I did not think it was this kind of pain.” He cursed an awful lot too, but was unable to stop screaming in pain as he bent over.The pain is absolutely horrific,” he groaned, and had to be held by the assistant. At the end of it all he was given a baby doll.
“When we did it I kept saying ‘nobody is going to believe it’s this painful’.
Nothing in the world can prepare you for that. They say if a guy has had kidney stones he can relate to it, but I’ve had kidney stones and I’d rather have 20 kidney stones.”
Although he thinks it made him a better birthing partner, he also said that he’d never go through the experience again.
