Six fire engines and 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a pub on Muswell Hill.

Part of the ground floor and part of the first floor of the building was damaged by fire. All of the ducting to the second floor of the building was gutted by the blaze

The Brigade was called at 1159 and the fire was under control at 1402. Fire crews from Hornsey, Southgate, Tottenham, Kentish Town, Finchley and Homerton fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
