Police said a huge fire ripped through and burnt a lorry in the village of Kiti, in the Larnaca area, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The vehicle owner, a 45-year-old man, claims the fire caused €5,000 worth of damage. The fire completely destroyed the interior of the truck.

Kiti police are now investigating the cause of the fire.
