A naked man was taken to hospital for evaluation after her was spotted marching down a Edmonton road during the morning rush hour.

Enfield Council’s CCTV operators spotted the man swinging his arms in the air as he walked along Northern Avenue, Victoria Road and Bedevere Road at 8.30am on Friday 15 May.

They called the police and he was taken home, then taken to hospital by ambulance for evaluation.

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Cllr Daniel Anderson, said: ”This case demonstrates how Enfield Council’s CCTV network can help to identify and protect the most vulnerable members of our society.

“By intervening promptly in this case we were able to get his man off the streets and get him to a place of safety and ensure he receives the help and support he needs.”
