A 50-year-old Greek Cypriot man from Ormidia village shot early on Sunday and seriously injured a 32-year-old Romanian woman before taking his own life, police said.
The incident took place outside an apartment complex at coastal Oroklini, Larnaca district.
The man was found dead near the car the Romania victim who has a chest and shoulder injury was sitting in before a man walking by saw them. A hunting rifle was found near the body of the man.
The woman was first taken to Larnaca Hospital and later to intensive care in Nicosia.
